The Biotechnology Center is a research unit facility that was established in 2007 under the supervision of the Faculty of Science at Kuwait University. It provides advanced research environment for scientists working in the field of biotechnology research, clinical research, molecular diagnostics and environmental studies. Serving specialized units in biology including genomics, proteomics, animal and plant tissue culture as well as microbial studies. The center provides access to specialized modern scientific instrumentation which is accessible to all the students and researchers in and outside of the university. The center also promotes multi-disciplinary research and training by organizing seminars, workshops, and hands-on sessions on a wide range of latest life science machines.The center supports both new and established scientists enabling them setup collaborations to reach new horizons in their research.
